Your 2025 Individual Income Tax Organizer will be delivered electronically via SafeSend Gather.
SafeSend Gather
Gather provides you with your normal organizer plus a checklist of needed documents. Upload as many different files as necessary and Gather will check off documents from the list.
Implementing SafeSend Gather will allow us to complete the tax return collection, preparation and delivery process in a completely paperless and secure manner from start to finish.

We'll send you a Gather request by email.
You will receive an email from Youmans & Gardner, LLC, CPAs at noreply@safesendreturns.com. Add this email to your safe list to prevent it from being categorized as spam or junk.

Save the Email or Create a Client Portal

Please save a copy of the email from noreply@safesendreturns.com to access your tax organizer and Gather request in the future. Or we recommend creating your Client Portal and you can return to the organizer and Gather request by clicking "Client Login" from our website.
Once you have requested the access code and entered it for entry to the welcome page, you will be able to complete the following steps.
Questionnaire
Answering the Questionnaire is very helpful to us to understand your current tax situation and to ask follow-up questions necessary to prepare an accurate return.
Please answer the Questionnaire in as much detail as possible and provide additional explanations or documentation as necessary.
You're welcome to complete the Client Organizer. Some clients do find it helpful to complete some or all the pages contained in the organizer. Most clients have historically used it as a checklist to gather their documents. If the latter is the case, skip the organizer and introduce yourself to Gather!
Gather Request
Today many clients receive their tax documents electronically. If you do, simply download them from your payor or payee and drag them into your Gather Request. It's that easy!
Upload Source Documents against a check list. Do not be alarmed when you see the documents categorized and a green check mark appears. That’s the beauty of the product in action. Make as many uploads as necessary over as many days, weeks, or months until you have supplied us with all or as many documents as you can.
If you are already receiving your documents electronically, download the files and then drag them into your Gather request. After the upload, you'll see green check marks next one or more of the items on the list.
If you still receive some documents by paper and don't have a way to upload them to Gather, no problem! Bring some or all your documents to the office and we'll add them to your Gather request for you.
As you progress, click Finish to move to the next event.
Once all documents are uploaded, please mark Finish indicating to your Tax Professional all is submitted for tax preparation.

The benefits include:
- Increased security around the sharing of your confidential tax documents.
- Improved turnaround time to prepare your tax return – we will no longer have the delay of information being routed through the mail, email and/or scanning of hard copy documents. We will have immediate access to start the preparation process.
- Simultaneous access to the same tax documents – you will retain a copy of all information you provide us through the software, which means you will not have to wait for us to process and return any documents to you that you may need as we complete your tax return.
